Fountain pens are more portable tho. And there's some cheap options under 10 that are great, like Pilot Preppys or Jinhaos off Aliexpress. Still refillable too, so less environmentally taxing than a ballpoint.

Cheapest way to get into nib stuff is just getting a dip nib and then some india ink and going to town. Shouldn't cost >$15 between a cheap holder, a single nib, ink, and a sketchbook with appropriate paper.

noo, in fact they have a very different feel and nature depending on nib and material. i have several (10 or so) that i switch between for different feeling. My favorite is the Sailor Fude de mannen and oh boy, once you start on INK.

something like that would have to look into movie financing. but depending on style, it might be achievable. I know Jonni Phillips did a movie length thing. it would probably do well on a film festival circuit. so it's a more traditional route with some clearer paths

I have dip pens already. The trouble is portability. If you're dipping ink, then you have to carry an ink well with you. And that can be messy or untenable in certain conditions outside of a dedicated workspace.

Would love an "eyedropper converter" for fountain pens. Something like a MASSIVE cartridge that would effectively fill the body with ink, but it's easy to remove and clean. Then I wouldn't have to refill so much (I'm an artist, so I whip through ink crazy fast despite multiple pens in circulation)

Genderfuckery/genderqueer needn't be trans. It can just be general "gender non-conformity", a category that is prone to frequent shifting around and is defined different outside of dif communities. Like wearing pants is only genderfuckery to a certain crowd, but a gender neutral thing to others.

i like Jurassic Park, but in the "that was a great movie" way. My dinosaur joy started with science shows and books and museum trips. I didnt see JP until like late 90s on vhs. I get a bit annoyed with people who base their dino/sci opinions on a movie with a frankenstein bent.
