While I don't think we all need to get directly into politics, I do think voting is not enough Individualism and a lack of community make us lose track of what we're even voting for

So rather than "new" things coming from an objective foundation, they are coming from an uncertain one There is still kind of a duality there because I cannot directly observe the uncertainty However, I think that interpretation solves my problem for having a consistent subjective reality

And to a significant degree, that foundation is infallible We might interpret it incorrectly, the foundation itself is inherently certain from all points of view But if we take away that certainty, then the foundation crumbles. The only certainty comes from our observations

So, objectivity isn't just that something exists outside of me (or us, or observers), but it also has to be certain It's the idea that things don't appear out of nothingness, but are the result of a framework or structure or foundation that exists separately from me

Part of my idea for subjective reality is that anything outside of my observations is completely uncertain Today I figured out that the problem of "new" things coming from an outside source only counts as objectivity if it is a that source is consistent

That implies an objective aspect to reality because it would have to exist outside of my subjective observations That would create a contradiction, meaning a fully subjective reality is inconsistent. Unless... the things outside of observations don't exactly "exist" So that's the problem

I'm not sure if this will make sense, but I want to write it down somewhere I've been thinking about a Subjective Reality that is Consistent But I've been stuck on the idea that I can learn new things, so that means there must be something outside myself for those new things to come from

Is anyone studying Gen Z's written language and how it lacks punctuation and capitalization? I'm not sure regression is the right word for it, but the way they write is kind of what early written language was like I swear though, if they stop using spaces, I'm out of here

It reminds me of a tiktok about an autism assessment and the questions were unanswerable to the person being assessed It blows my mind that the first step in addressing neurodivergent barriers is itself A NEURODIVERGENT BARRIER /end rant (5/5)

And while I appreciate for many people the assessment questions might make sense From my point of view, it feels like my neurodiversity doesn’t count because I exist in a constant state of coping (4/5)

Do I have trouble getting things in order for tasks that require organization? What does that even mean? Can I list things alphabetically or sort by colour? Yes Does anything stay organized and will I remember where I put something after it leaves my hand? Absolutely not (3/5)

Do I have trouble remembering appointments? No, but I constantly remind myself about it during the week and then sit there all day waiting for it I can definitely remember, but maybe traumatizing myself so that I can remember is a bit of problem (2/5)

So I’ve been looking into a “proper” ADHD diagnosis and the 5 question assessment sucks Why isn’t there a caveat that overcompensating or relying on a system to do things counts as “having trouble” with it (1/5)

Plex and Tubi are my go tos Plex is decent for free content, and if they don’t have something, they tell you were you can get it Plus you can set it up to stream videos from a computer/server, which is neat, but I haven’t tried it

How do you get a good ct scan of a stingray spine? Stick a styrofoam packing peanut onto a specimen holder with wax, jab the spine into the styrofoam, and scan away! One of my favorite things about ct scanning is figuring out the best way to fit stuff into the scanner 🐟🦑
