Oh that's even better! Go around, take the public transportation, shop @ NTUC FairPrice, eat @ the hawker centres, go to Woodlands to see the HDBs and maybe even take the bus to Malaysia (Johor Bahru) across the causeway. So you get to see how local people live. Then decide if you wanna work there.

Just make sure you have all your documents ready (both hard and scanned copies). This will make things easier for processing of the employment visa. I used to live in SG before moving Down Under. Just be prepared for very high rental rates. Feel free to DM me if you have questions.
