An old guy in the suburban area where I used to live walked his chickens to the park about a block away every day. It was adorable and the chickens loved it. He would round them up and they would follow him there, hang out doing chicken stuff for awhile then follow him back home.

I tried hard to find a reason to be empathetic to Nicole. The only thing I could come up with at the beginning of the article was “well at least she is donating her $$” unlike many w/her wealth but by the end I was all “eff this bitch”. I remain firmly team orca. Great article & do stay safe!

A diabetic friend is on Mounjaro. He finally paid almost 3K out of pocket at Costco to buy enough for 3 months. It took almost 2 months to find, even w/his MDs help so he said eff it and stockpiled. He knows he is lucky to be able to pay it, the shortages for those who can’t pay are unconscionable.

there's a reason i've been using bluesky daily for over a year and dropped twitter as fast as i could. bluesky's approach to "you can configure what you want to have" is fundamentally more open and free than twitter's "you have to listen to John Nazi who paid $8 to yell at you". the choice is clear

A lot of brands do the opposite, though. It’s called vanity sizing and is a real thing. Pants that used to be a size 10 are now what used to be size 8. So woman can fool themselves they wear a size 0 when really it’s a 2 or a 4. I just wish the industry would get together and use the same sizing.

I’m not going to stick up for what he did, it was appalling. And he’s always been mid at best. But he did that in 2014. People change and grow. “Hind’s Hall”, with all profits going to UNRWA makes me think he has grown.

Been to Oakland, SF or LA, Robert? How about Atlanta or Chicago or NY? Or let’s keep it small and start with Uvalde TX. Cops only serve the white, male and wealthy. The system is broken for the majority of people in the US.
