This morning @ mahi had the privilege to help unveil a stunning new Lisa Reihana digital video artwork commission, created in collaboration with current and past Waiapapa Taumata Rau Dance Studies students, and displayed on a 6m tall LED screen in the atrium of B201 (from 1:56:57 requires TVNZ a/c)

[SKATE] Managed to get out for a late afternoon / evening session for #GoSkateboardingDay at Panmure skatepark. Skated with a few other old-head locals, including Mike who was there when I had my collarbone break. Always interesting to hear an external viewpoint. Nice skate sesh too! π

Picture looked awful on default, but a simple single menu setting change put things to rights. I still don't get why people like watching film/TV with picture quality that make everything look like a cheap set rather than an immersive setting. Upgraded our TV for the first time in maybe 15yrs (!?! Ikr, for someone so into movie watching etc you think I'd be more kitted out...) Pretty excited to see in the meantime tech companies listened to the filmmaker complaints about TV settings and made a decentish 'Filmmaker' picture mode #win
