I can't think of a single policy priority today that would more effectively address economic insecurity, inequality, and climate change all at once than a major effort to build more (and denser) housing in America.

I remember asking my parents about climate change when I was like 5, probably right after Hansen’s testimony to the US Congress. I went to college for environmental engineering and then switched to science and policy. Climate was “one of many” with air pollution, acid rain (still), recycling..
