They dropped all of Star Trek Prodigy S2 on Netflix the other day. 20 new episodes of Star Trek. Yes, it's a kids' cartoon. If you can get past the first 5 episodes of the 1st season it's also good Star Trek. Some Star Trek series took a lot longer than 5 episodes to find their footing.

It's worth watching for the animation alone. The visuals are fantastic. It is also my favorite first season of any Star Trek show. It knows the story it wants to tell and gets the time to invest in the characters

I thought the first 5 episodes were ok. It certainly got my kids looped into the Star Trek universe. We're watching TNG now (though skipping the problematic episodes which did not age well).
