Focusing on presidential swing states is good and all but crucial shit is happening all over the nation at the state level and it is nearly impossible to go wrong getting involved anywhere a trans care ban or abortion ban has come down.

Goddammit, people should not be fucking DYING from HEAT in a place that they cannot leave or where they cannot control their environment. Air conditioning in California's Central Valley should be BASIC, like food, water, and shelter. I'm not sure how this doesn't constitute at least manslaughter.

As long as the estate has gone through probate, they can pound sand. Probate is the opportunity for claims to be made on the estate. I still occasionally get really scammy mail for my father who died almost 10 years ago, it's always a little unsettling.

Depending on how the protest jail support efforts are being conducted, sometimes it makes sense to call the NLG or jail support hotline even if you do have another lawyer! That way they can keep track of defendants and include you in mass defense

It's worth watching for the animation alone. The visuals are fantastic. It is also my favorite first season of any Star Trek show. It knows the story it wants to tell and gets the time to invest in the characters
