Well this is wild! Was looking up the Reform candidate for my constituency and found a website run by another Reform candidate where he’s listed. There’s also a helpful constituency map. Look at the place names towards the bottom. What do you see?

Have they not heard of Open Street Map? (Freely available). The fact that they are so disconnected from the modern world that the best map they can find is in Cyrillic speaks volumes. (Notwithstanding the concerning suggestion of Russian influence) They may in fact not yet know about “the internet”

The innocent explanation? Maybe they have somebody in the office, or maybe in the office they hired for some of this stuff, who is of Bulgarian or Serbian or Russian etc. descent, and that person took the screenshot of the map. Then there are the more realistic explanations..

Not a Reform fan, but they use leaflet.js to display the map, and that was built by a Ukrainian. (Click Leaflet for info.) Possibly that's the source of the Cyrillic...
