Gaëtan's submission of his address book of sex partners pretty much sealed the deal on HIV being sexually transmitted. And because he submitted a record that extensive, he was at the center of a lot of the contact tracing.
On charts, Gaëtan was marked "O." Not 0, O. For "Out of California."

Gaëtan Dugas was a sexually active, gay, French-Canadian airhost. He was diagnosed so early, he participated in a study to prove HIV was sexually transmitted. (Yes, this was WAY back.)
Gaëtan kept an address book (people used to do that), and the researchers used it for contact tracing.

The best description of "Slay the Princess" is "haunting." It haunts me.
I'm pretty sure I got the best ending, but I still want to play it again to see if I can do better.
I'm currently loving "Tavern Talk." It's like a warm blanket fresh fron the dryer for my soul. There's a free demo on Steam.

A trick I learned from a Tom Waits interview:
When an idea comes, treat it like a client. Say, "Sorry, I can't get to that right now, but let me make an appointment for you."
Then jot down a note an address it as soon as you are able.

And remember much of the work attributed to them were really group efforts.
Everyone who helped make them deserves praise & recognition.

Poor baby. I hope she's doing better today.
Our dog wanted to settle the matter with violence, but she's still stressed this morning.

Still hard to top the joy of physical media.
Humans love to play with stuff.

It just occurred to me yo may be doing all your work digitally because I am old and still sketch on cheap newsprint.
Do not turn your PC into kindling.

I turn my fails into campfire kindling.
Remember to twist them, not ball them up.

Full disclosure: I used to draw the Helk out of Garfield in middle school back in the 1980s.

As a kid, I thought everything in the world should be available in vending machines.
That was well before I realized how many people would be put out of work.
I still want the vending machines, but I also want UBI so everyone can get stuff from vending machines.

As an American, I simply have to accept all of this as fact.

Plants can get infected with viruses.
I think that's what's going on there.
Still very cool and probably rare.

What I'm working on now.
I'm a graphic designer (not as exciting as it sounds, I make flyers, posters & banners and nearly all art is supplied by the clients) but I'm working on a comic book series at home.
I'd keep my day job and spend the UBI publishing the comic.
And sleep better at night.

FUN FACT: The truck in "Duel" was being driven by a shark.

Saw a video of a little Palestinian girl, still alive, a look of resignation in her eyes, with her jaw blown off. In between endless droves of Americans pretending that the only reason that Biden's in trouble is his age. The only reason, nothing else. To live in the world of empire is insanity.

🔷🔷🔷 FREE 🔷🔷🔷
I usually do not do free giveaways for my art so this a very rare exception.
For a limited time only, this is the only chance to get my work for free.
Please help to share.
Thank you.
