If anyone wants to throw money at a cause for my birthday on the 4th, mailing donations to the Circus Cats so they can get a couple of cyr wheels of their own to use that aren't mine is an option. I've been working with some great students, and they spend so much on just their aerial equipment.

This sounds very close to Ni No Kuni II, except it was essentially the President of the United States (though not explicitly named as being the US) that essentially got isekai'd.
