Can’t stop thinking about those oligarch bunkers with flaming moats &c. My societal collapse plan is community and/or martyrdom if I’m called to it. A lot cheaper in terms of money but requires other kinds of investment. Anyway happy 11th ordination anniversary to me! God help me keep my promises.

I have the opportunity to practice real Celtic spirituality by plunging into an ice cold holy well in Wales and walking in a circle while praying the rosary. Should I do it? The downside is that it’s right before a formal dinner and there are limited facilities to change clothes.

Fun fact: Presiding Bishop Daniel Tuttle was the Cal Ripken Jr. of the Episcopal Church. He served an astonishing 20 years as Presiding Bishop (1903-23), 56 years total as a bishop (!!!!) and consecrated 89 (!!!) bishops. He was elected Missionary Bishop of Montana at the age of 29.

Yeah, I have had Trupanion for two dogs and it has really helped with their emergencies. Also when my little old guy developed a heart murmur they covered all the cardiology exams and stuff.
