i am sincerely thinking about the right combination of terms i need to use to avoid biden old and replace biden discourse, we have been on this for too many days and the whole thing is legitimately irritating and i don’t want to talk about it anymore at all, with anyone, even everyone i like.

had an allergist appt today and, just like last time, dr was like "so how r ur allergies doing" and I said "way better" and then she looked at my throat and nose and ears and said "this is 'way better'?" and I said "yeah, way better" and she said "damn okay I guess" and wrote me a new epi pen rx

I think for me a live question is whether putting that stone in the shoe is going to help with the work the sermon is otherwise doing or possibly impede it - but that’s probably a case by case judgment call based on both congregation and sermon content

Part of it is surely simply getting older - my tolerance is lower in the moment, consequences are harsher in the morning after even just one or two, etc. So I’m thinking about putting alcohol-drinking in the same category as meat-eating - major feasts only, absent very good cause for exception
