Not that I know of! My sense is that the clientele is different enough for editing and writing that they take up their own parts of the online universe.

2/2 you can post ads for services and there are plenty of editors with PhDs. There are also FB groups but I don't know of any that successfully create a marketplace - so there are good ones for editors to talk to each other, but not great for getting new clients, or advertising services.

The editing world is pretty distinct from writing and comm work, for the most part, so I don't know of anywhere that combines those services. There are specific job boards for editors (in the US the Editorial Freelancer's Association is the biggest one) and they have a board where you can 1/2

My latest--5 takeaways abt abortion attitudes in all 50 states, via @prripoll.bsky.social.

One stunning finding:
Even in states where abortion is completely or effectively banned, a majority of residents (53%) believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases.

I've worked for UK clients before who just have to show that I'm a US-based contractor, and then they file paperwork to exempt them from the VAT. They need to go back and figure things out -- this isn't right, and they owe you $Y.

Thomas Buser-Clancy, an ACLU attorney involved in Mason’s case, told reporters Friday that Birdwell’s ruling “sends a clear message that voters can freely perform their civic duty,” saying well-intentioned voters should not be afraid that they could be prosecuted “if they slip up.”

My brother has been working on Crystal Mason’s case for the past several years. I’m overjoyed her sentence was overturned yesterday…no one should got to jail for voting, and this is especially important in Texas in an election year.

Finishing a multi-year editing project on a book about badass (and troubling) nuns on the western frontier, and just happening to send the revisions back to the author on Good Friday...an example of why I love my job.
