Once we no longer have two teenagers and a giant dog imma downsize for sure. I’d really like for electric cars to be reasonable in price, availability and infrastructure by then. Also not magatesla. But at this rate we’re all going to be pinned down in bunkers by then so we might not need a car.

Loved the crosstrek when I had it as a loaner from the dealership. The 4 runner has a screen mode that makes it look like there’s a drone over the car with a camera pointed down so you can see everything around you. No idea how anyone parked them before this feature.

I was just thinking a few days ago about how, just like 10 years ago, I could pick up my local alt weekly, flip a few pages in and find a list of upcoming shows compiled and at least somewhat curated by an actual person. Now there's just an events calendar full of real estate and crypto seminars
