the fact that we can look at most major problems with our lives and guess "this is the fault of private equity" - and have that actually be correct a shockingly large percentage of the time - is an excellent reason to regulate the industry into the ground

Except the land being advertised was almost entirely within the Green Line(i.e. Israel's internationally recognized borders). There was one in Efrat, partially over the line. So unless you're saying all of Israel is stolen it doesn't hold up. forward.com/fast-forward...

What control do you think the people who attend the synagogue or the people who work at the synagogue have over the Israeli or US governments? There's an Israeli consulate in LA. No need to target people who are not involved unless the purpose is to tag all Jews as complicit.

My Dad, a tax attorney, loved meeting strangers. One day he's chatting w/ a man in the grocery store. The man says his group could use help with their taxes. They exchange business cards. The guy was the grand wizard of the local KKK chapter.

Apparently there is a growing community of American ex-pats living in Russia, spreading disinformation and Russian propaganda. And MAGAs like MTG are repeating them. People need to know to be on the lookout for this stuff.

First, I don't think it's true that no one in GenZ will vote for Biden. Many I have spoken to acknowledge that if it's a choice between him, Trump, and RFK's brain worm, they will choose Biden. Second, since that is going to be the choice, I choose Biden. And finally, I think he's done a lot of good

Trump does own both those things. He enabled and encouraged the worst inclinations of the Netanyahu government, as well as the Chinese genocide of Uyghurs and Myanmar's abuse of the Rohyngia. And boy did he fuck up the pandemic. A million unnecessary American deaths on his watch. It's devastating

Here's a question- under Trump China committed genocide against the Uyghurs and Trump said putting them in camps was exactly the right thing to do. Myanmar committed atrocities against the Rohyngia and the Trump admin refused to acknowledge it. And he cut down on refugees.
