Ontario is what’s wrong in city development. There is demand for condos between $500-600 hundred thousand. Developers built a large number of condos over the last 4 years. They did not build for the market. They were allowed to switch to sky high rents. Housing needs planning for people!

Don’t want to dump on any housing initiatives but the amount of plumbing and structure that has to be added will be cost prohibitive. It sounds easy but office building codes only require a small number of washrooms per floor. Seattle is also a Seismic zone for building code. Demolish & build new.

Pierre Poilievre was the point man on most of the overturned legislation from the Harper years. It was poorly thought out and was glaring in its weaknesses. The man has no depth of thought or analysis as you can from his slogans and his lack of analysis on everything from climate change to housing.
