The Affinity apps are great, as long as the features they're still lacking aren't must-haves for you (I switched a long time ago, get along with Designer SO much better than I ever did with Illustrator)

Currently coding a JS app to take some sensible data from a major brand and turn it into something else It's in such a mess (unwanted white space in values, mistyped property names, broken field that's a load of commas) that my ridiculous project will end up with cleaner data

Had a quick play with this, it's rough in places (eg no OTF fonts, some TTFs crash it) but impressive & a handy option if you don't have a motion graphics app installed. Hope they manage to get enough funding to stick with it, they should probably chat with the Photopea dev pikimov.com
