That's Wolfgang Schäuble, German Politician, President of the Bundestag 2017-2021, Minister, party leader, member of the Bundestag.... from 1972 (!) till 2021. Used a wheelchair after being shot and hurt in his spine in 1990. A big part of his career was AFTER that incident.

This RN in her early 50s has to use one occasionally, too, if I’m having a bad day with my myasthenia gravis. Luckily for me, I get to do the cerebral side of nursing these days, which I love, rather than direct patient care.

When I first messed up my meniscus I was briefly relying on one and I still require a knee brace. All of us at any time/age are never that far from any issue that could put us in a situation where we need assistance. Heck my mom had an infection bad enough that she's bedridden as we rehab her

Prior service Marine and combat vet in my 40s. Have used crunches and a walker on occasion. Can still do some stuff but everyone has their moments. The media campaign against Biden right now is lame as shit. Ratings, ratings, ratings, ratings. That’s all these places care about.
