I LOVE being on my local library board! I get to stay in touch with what is going on in my county, help set policy, and work with others to keep our library spaces fun and engaging! My appointment is a 3 year term (I'm just over halfway through). I was appointed my my county commissioner.

Um. Wow. About a month ago, I had a patron lecture me (20 mins) about the "proper" way to clean a whiteboard. Said patron showed up today and jumped right back in with how I had cleaned it wrong and what I need to do differently. I am currently the reference librarian & not cleaning.

Every situation is different, but essentially, party 1 keeps paying their existing mortgage payments but on party 2's property, and part 2 pays their existing mortgage payments on party 1's property. Or something along those lines.

Turns out I didn't lose a 1099 tax form; it was never sent to me. Because THEY NEVER PAID ME for my contract work.
And I was so distracted by my upset life that I didn't notice. This also explains some other financial numbers that never seemed to add up.
