I remember coming across some videos with writing tips from him when I first started my novel, and then when I looked him up more, I was like, "wait, he wrote WHAT??" But agreed, his advice was really helpful!

Another great thing is how places like McDonald's, Starbucks, etc., are now basically everywhere. And so when you travel, you can get all the comforts of home and don't even need to try any strange food! It makes the whole experience of traveling so much nicer.

In a further example of how useless Twitter is now, Michelle Obama is trending and the top tweets are all just wild and hateful conspiracy theories. I mean, it's one thing not to censor the posts; it's another to promote them so they appear at the top of the trending tweets!!

... if I haven't gotten an agent, I'll pursue self-publishing. I've already kind of accepted that this will be the most likely option, so the rejections roll off my back now haha. It's definitely an ego-bruising process, but I hope you have quick success!! 🙏 🙏

As I continue the process of querying my novel, I'm reminded there are people who are much more bitter than me! Like this comment I saw on Query Tracker: "Here’s a suggestion request more than twenty pages or two chapters and don’t be a pretentious hack that pretend you read the sample chapters."

This! I do know a few people who like AI and use it for some things, but I feel like the vast majority of people don't like it, and instead it's big companies who try to force it upon us, even though no one actually asked for it. Maybe a sign that AI is a huge bubble...? Let's hope so.
