Heads up, Bluesky has a new update that automatically toggles off all "adult content," forcing you to re-enable it to see anything. Probably just an oversight, still annoying as hell. Check your content filtering in the moderation settings!

I think it's a good and safe idea, new users specially young people could see adult content so easily and might get shocked, so toggling off by default is a nice move from Bluesky

I know, it's like, really inconvenient to have to toggle a setting. Seriously though, there are a lot of people who would pick a fight with BluSky over notional underage users seeing adult content, so it makes sense to work around that. It would have also made sense to notify users - didn't they?

It probably happened because they finally fixed showing Adult content on iOS in this update. Probably an oversight in implementation,but they actually improved things (I even wrote a ticket for this)

I think it's perfect to have it automatically off. might be annoying for users who had it on, but for new users, younger or older, they can choose to enable it (or leave it disabled if they're a minor). it's safer that way.
