Although Dorian's not officially out as genderqueer until book three, it's Non-binary Awareness Week, and it felt weird to me to leave xem out. There are loads of minor non-binary characters in the series, but Dorian and Ant are the two major characters that fall under that umbrella.

I had doors like this in my old apartment. In the middle of the handle there is a lock that looks like it can be turned, but it presses in and clicks. Like a button. Then it's locked.

The one time I responded to an organizer's text, they pushed back aggressively & I got so frustrated I was like 'I'm done.' I don't even register with a party anymore because the Democratic party blackmailed me one year ('We know your voting record. If you don't vote, we'll show your neighbors')

It went okay, the person was pretty nice and said since they just started requiring proof of bills for every recertification, he wouldn't freeze my benefits like they would normally (which would have been awful since I'd had no idea). He made it super easy.

It's 8 in the morning, the medication I take to sleep hasn't fully worn off yet and I keep nodding off. They really try to make it as hard as possible to access and keep the help disabled and poor people need 😓

Government assistance: 'You have an appointment that you have a one hour window to reach us by, and you have to call us.' *Sits through a 5 minute robot trying to figure out what to select, then after confirming I'm calling for an appointment, am told my wait time is almost an hour* 🥲 Why.

My brain isn't working lately, but I'm glad I was able to at least put up one new short story. I wrote it a few months ago, and it was the last thing I've written in a little while. I just can't focus lately or think creatively. It's anxiety-inducing, not being able to write. I hope I can again.

I stumbled across some wild adult content and you know what didn't traumatize me? That. You know what DID traumatize me? My mom growing angry at any curiosity for a sex talk and banning any form of it, calling body part words perverted. Leaving me ignorant to the fact I actually was being SA'd. 3/

Lock their messenger apps to private and friends only. There are social media apps widely used by minors that don't allow sexual content. TALK. TO. YOUR. KIDS. ABOUT. SAFE. SEX FFS Keep them informed! As a survivor of CSA, fuck off with your diluting of such a horrific trauma. 2/
