Hey motherfuckers, just found out my kid had post-viral myocarditis from COVID in 2022! Discovered because of constant fatigue and dizziness when standing. They now use a cane. COVID is surging again so do the damn things! I know they suck but not as much as giving someone else a heart condition.

I just learned that a tree the city planted on my property many years ago was supposed to be watered weekly by me and not the city (it's fine, very well established despite my neglect mostly because we didn't have brutal weeks-long heat domes while it was young)

Gene Simmons is fascinating, though. He's aggressively mediocre musically/lyrically, isn't particularly smart, attractive or charming, is an irredeemable asshole by all reports, seems wholly driven by epigenetic trauma and ego, but damn does he have a talent for marketing.

We stayed at an Airbnb with a massive gas leak and the owner kept blaming the previous occupants for making "ethnic food". We ended up calling the gas company, which found 3 major leaks while we were packing up to escape. The way Airbnb handled it we couldn't leave an honest review

I looked over the actual report and yeah, this is very concerning. There is no safe exposure level to lead. The authors note it's not known how much gets absorbed into the body via tampon use because that research has never been done. It's maddening how research on women's health is lacking.
