Because of Bluesky, I watched Jaws 2 for the first time tonight. It was kind of shit, but that was no big surprise; what *was* surprising was that somebody decided that a Jaws sequel should be mostly about sailboats and the high-school drama of some anonymous teenagers.

If it helps at all, things gets started as "rich family with unstated weird background living in creaky old house, and then there's some rich-family drama about who caused a car accident". Very soap opera, very '60s pacing... it takes about a year to get to "Oh, and our cousin is a vampire."
