Slowing reaching for sunlight.
I've never suggested anyone should challenge Biden. The idea is inherently illegitimate - Joe is our nominee as chosen by tens of millions of voters, myself included.
Given his cognitive decline, however, I do think he should resign in favor of his democratically elected VP. That's why she's there!

He is not able to communicate his effectively. This is a baseline requirement of any political leader for both their party and their governmental position.
The media coverage on this has been bullshit and deserving of scorn, but communication is vital and Biden can't do it anymore.

Yes, that was my rhetorical question.
If he had a stroke (or fall or MI or significant cancer) that rendered him incapable of performing his duties as president, what would the remedy be?
Since he obviously can't perform those duties, why shouldn't we seek the same remedy?

Presidents are responsible for leading their parties and rebutting the opposition. Joe is no longer capable of doing that. He needs to pass his responsibilities off to his elected and legally designated successor. If he thinks Kamala can't beat Trump then it was grossly immoral to pick her as VP.

There is no subversion of our votes if he resigns and let's his similarly elected VP take over

Projecting confidence? A physiological ability to project confidence during a crucial situation is why Biden is being asked to resign in the first place! He literally couldn't do it when it mattered. That's it.

a good way to alleviate concerns about Bidens debate performance / age *and* concerns about court overreach would be for Team Biden to schedule a short TV speech on it and give a firebrand performance about what he intends to do about it
just sayin

If Biden can't manage, ok, that sucks, hand in your notice and let Harris take the reins. If not, he does need to actually campaign on this stuff. And, like, *actually campaign* on the stuff folks are worried about, and treat this seriously. And they really need to get their shit together and pick.

This survey really highlights why response bias is such a problem for polling right now.
81% of respondents *watched* the debate, and 99% of the respondents had heard something about it!

She polls similarly to Biden, and is a more reliable/effective communicator at this point. While she will be attacked relentlessly, there's a chance some of those attacks will backfire due to obvious sexism and racism. There is much less risk of a further decline in her health compared to Joe.

It doesn't really have an algorithm. Check the "Feeds" section and you can look for either curated feeds on Ukraine or just everything with "Ukraine" in the text / alt-text

Polling shows that Biden maintains support from 73% of Sims currently in a relationship.
However, support from independents who have been exposed to miasma in Dwarf Fortress has fallen from 40% to 32%.

Mike Duncan covered this in the first season of his Revolutions podcast. You might find something interesting on his bibliography under the English section: thehistoryofrome.typepad.com/revolutions_...
I can't vouch for anything on the list, but the podcast was interesting and nuanced.
