Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.

Honestly, I've never seen any evidence Dems have a mechanism for messaging. It's wild. Republicans clearly disseminate talking points that they will spew verbatim. But it's like Dem reps won't do it. Either no one is pushing organized messaging, or they just won't listen.

An aside, but this should more or less be the Alsobrooks campaign in Maryland. Hogan may not himself be the worst guy and you may like him, but these are the people with whom he is choosing to associate. A vote for this guy gives more power to *these* guys.

I keep thinking about how Biden's team had a year after the SC granted cert on Dobbs to develop a comms/action plan and still floundered for days after the decision. And (probably) Alito also gave them a two-month heads-up that Roe/Casey was definitely dead! I'm not sure they want to win.
