The Circuit Court ruled that Trump is not immune from persecution in Feb 2024. SCOTUS could have just declined to touch that. Instead they waited five months to say "Trump is immune on some things, not others, y'all should figure out which," and it's very clear what they're doing

Indeed, this is targeting faculty speech, particularly those who have a broader platform. I agree that we need to understand the history of social movements and what has and hasn’t been good strategy, but he’s conflating too many issues here. It’s confusing.

Amen…Enterprise went off track almost immediately and it pissed me off. Shows a lack of imagination on the part of the writers. I would rather see a dull day on the bridge than that crap. But I must admit I liked the movie The Journey Home because it made a lot of fun/funny moments.

Right wing elites conspired to delay the chances of Trump being tied on federal charges so he could dismiss them if he wins. Insanely corrupt. This trial went forward because it was not subject to the whims of a Trumpist attack on the rule of law led by “respectable” conservatives.

My mother had similar tendencies. I learned to have compassion for her, trying to understand how she was raised during the depression and trying not to let that generational trauma impact my relationship with my sons.
