Exactly. There's so much to work with, and Biden should just say it. "Hey Donald, remember when you raped someone then lied about her, a jury awarded a hundred million against you, then you lied about her again, and a jury awarded another hundred million against you? You're scum. You're trash."

Rereading Vonnegut and damn he’s good. Random sentence: “His high school was named after a slave owner who was also one of the world’s greatest theoreticians on the subject of human liberty.”

It would be kinda cool to live in a country where AIPAC couldn’t spend $15 million dollars to unseat congress members that criticize Israel for committing genocide against Palestinians.

Tbh, this is the through line of most liberation philosophy. Even those thinkers who advocate violence against the system do so only if said violence would materially transform the situation of oppression. Freire says as much, as does Fanon, X, Lorde, Wells Barnette, and Carmichael.

All this stuff where people are aghast at college protests reminded me that Samuel L Jackson once straight up took college administrators hostage and within three years they were like yeah come on back and get your degree

3. This same mode of production has driven a process of scientific and technological development that has made at least one fourth and maybe half of the population of the earth superfluous from the standpoint of wealth production, a massive “economically expendable” population...

It is insane. But it's because there is no one to push back with real force against the hegemonic influence that dictates such things and because it indicates a desire to completely eliminate such an organization in the first place. Soon enough that 13k staff will be 80% or more laid off.

It took *years* after 9/11 for this many staffers to voice dissent. Things have shifted. Generational differences in positions towards Palestine are real.

Yep. No one is more locked in their ivory towers than the grotesquely rich billionaires and multimillionaires. Tangentially: way too many comfy as hell old school professors blink their eyes and refuse to get involved or show solidarity with their abused underlings, e.g. grad students and adjuncts.

This is only the beginning of the anti-Muslim, anti-Brown, anti-Arab violence, which will now escalate in the US and the West because of braindeads mindlessly chugging lib-con mainstream media propaganda. What lay dormant post-9/11 was revived by Trump and will be revived again. Truly sickening.
