It’s like being a parent of two children, one of whom stole a car and crashed it into a daycare, and the other brought home a B- on the report card. It’s ridiculous to even punish the second child, but it’s downright abusive to punish them both the same. And that’s what “unbiased” looks like.

This is correct (from @melissagiragrant.com ). There's a bunch of stuff about "helping the poor poor divorced fathers" and outlawing the word "caregiver" and punishing single moms (as well as people living with a partner, another abolished word). WOMEN (a monolith) are to be at home baking bread.

This is the fundamental problem. The rich, white, old men in charge of all the media outlets honestly, deeply believe that there is no difference between the two candidates. And fundamentally, that is so at odds with reality that it is destroying the ability of news to at all educate or inform.

I think it's mostly a case of the left-ward part of the party being aware of the stakes here, while the centrist grouping still seems to think of this as any other election they can game for positioning and better headlines.
