Trees pay off. This yard was blasted by the sun and unusable. I drove 4 white pines and two maples home in a Renault LeCar ~40 years ago for a hundred dollars. 3 pines and one maple survived. I got a free catalpa and linden saplings. The yard is now almost too shady for grass.

11 years ago. Ready for takeoff. A young woman looking very distressed misunderstood the instructions to stow everything and put her infant in the overhead compartment. I slapped the flight attendant button and the flight attendant helped her.
