WBD's stock price has tanked ~78% since David Zaslav was announced as CEO— $32.68 on 05/19/21 to $7.32, today— to say nothing of the brand loyalty, goodwill, & creative talent he's destroyed. It is amazing & genuinely horrifying that anyone could fail this badly, & remain in a position of authority

We had one manager who insisted on playing Kidz Bop overhead, which was horrid and made me look at that particular manager askance. I've never had a strong feeling about "Simply Having A Wonderful Christmastime", beyond it seeming like a threat from a bully. 😅

I've worked retail, received several doses of this punishment, and can say that any song can become horrid, given repetition. Second-worst has lots of contenders, including "Don't Cha" (Pussycat Dolls) and the late-era Aretha Franklin Christmas album track "Angels We Have Heard On High".
