For adults this often manifests in the form of desire smuggling. Which can be crippling in relationships (not just sexual ones, either). Learning to identify what you actually do want, and then actually asking for it is a necessary skill for an adult.

And a LOT of people will not vote for a woman. That's a fact of politics in the US. Some will vote Trump in outrage, and others will just not vote. She may be able to win, but her odds are worse than Biden's.

A Jewish Resistance fighter in Denmark did something like that. He'd been in jail when the invasion happened and got out a week later. He hopped on a train to Copenhagen and found it crawling with German soldiers. He spoke fluent German, so he shared his cigarettes and made contacts. --
