It's funny because such laws were often passed to stop Klan rallies, then were repealed/unenforced when people who liked/belonged to the Klan/adjacent gained power. Now the same people are passing laws to target protests THEY don't like. Anonymity is protected by the 1A, no matter who is doing it.
