The sooner we realize the enemy isn’t each other but a never ending cycle of power & trauma, the sooner we’ll see each other as we should. People are mostly the same. Power, political or religious, seeks division by design.

I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t know how to feel when my package suddenly takes a leisurely week-long trip through the Dakotas. North AND South. For no apparent reason.
Fucking DeJoy Postal Service. 🤨

I was deeplydeeply unimpressed with the “they keep the weapons & ammo behind the MRI machine.” I’m not quite sure whose intelligence that idea denigrates, but I’m thinking it’s just everyone’s.

Overengineered is a thing. One of the housemates was gonna move my car. I and the other housemate (who does drive it) both said no. There’s definitely a learning curve to the car. 🙄

One of the kids actually got a packet of cheesy tuna. Her cohort in trick-or-treating got a packet of potatoes from the same house. 🤦🏽♀️😂

Pfizer produces the Covid treatment Paxlovid for $13.
They’re charging $1390 for it.
Pfizer donated $5.7 million to members of Congress since Covid began to get government contracts and keep drug prices high.
Price gouging is legal because our campaign finance laws are broken.

Holy shit. 😳 Too many people feeling licensed to express their “ain’t right”-ness. (I’d say be safe, but we’re all trying to do that right now.)

When I look at this monstrosity, all I can think of are cross-desert vehicle chase scenes from any Mad Max movie.

Right? And we, as a social body, did a better job at recycling the containers that were used. Glass drink bottles were regularly returned, as were cans and other metals. It was just what we did.

That’s an interesting take considering they managed it in the 70’s. 🤨
