I'm a brain doc (Consultation-Liaison psych). For *years* Trump's shown uninterrupted, increasingly severe cognitive symptoms: he's incapable of linear thought at baseline. Whatever disrupted Biden's linear thought in the debate is at worst intermittent. Bonus: he's not an overt fascist.

Ppl are retweeting this and I just want to add that faxing is THE most annoying thing to do to your representatives. There are websites where you can fax for a small fee and those machines are LOUD and then at the very least they have to deal with all the print outs.

I keep telling people that if we want to know what American fascism will look like we don't need to look at Nazi Germany, or fictional dystopias like Gilead. We only need to look at the American South c. 1870-1965. This is not to absolve other places; the South was where it was most complete.

I read recently that the VA is the largest provider of trans health care in the country, which makes sense! I'm kinda anti-military but I also can see how a) it takes all kinds to join and b) seeing war firsthand could make you pretty leftist (I think about Rod Serling too)

Similarly, we have an ER doc friend, who is also a trans man, and who wants to make sure he and his wife will have continued access to both emergency and reproductive care. As well as being able to treat his own patients!
