Apparently, my mom had a less than positive reaction to hearing my daughter is dating a woman. Not the worst, but the "we love and accept her, but what happened to cause this" thing. I'm *shaken*. I would have never expected it from her. I think it'll be fine, even short term, but I'm heartbroken.

My whole family did stuff on a micro budget horror film, but nothing in the horror bits: I did some VO, my daughter was in an unrelated scene, and my wife's scene was cut save for seeing her walk out a door. But since they got Ari Lehman for a part, out whole family has a Kevin Bacon number of 2.

I taught myself to knit pre-pando, but never really got past scarves. Did a couple of hats once, wasn't exactly proud of them. I know there's a couple of local yarn stores, I should see if they have any knitting groups. I learn socks so bad.
