I've been in the disability lines w my mom when she was wheelchair bound, we had to wait the same amount of time as the regular line, it appears shorter but workers load you on less often. I've got lots of doubts abt people "abusing" disability access bc it's not that much of a bonus

As someone who used to be well versed in fanfic... that community is not the most reliable narrator when it comes to these things lol. I agree suing fanfic writers is cruel and bad, but she was an ally for gay rights for most of her life, especially after her son came out

I thought she disliked fanfic in general, not that she disapproved of it being gay. Her reasoning was a fear that if she wrote something that happened to appear in a fanfic that fan would sue her, wasn't it? I agree it was misguided, but imo paranoid older woman is different ballpark than bigot
