Trump is awful but I think this latest story isn't true... It's related to a couple of lawsuits filed nearly a decade ago that were ultimately dismissed. I can't find a credible source for it in regards to new information.

The top executive of the world governing body for running says that intersex women aren't women. This echoes what I heard a former running exec say on a meeting a couple years ago. You don't see these kinds of obsessive limitations placed on men. It's ridiculous.

I got to meet with staff from Senator Liias' office yesterday, plus a 1:1 meeting with Rep. Strom Peterson, about criminal justice reform And today I read about how Rep. Lillian Ortiz-Self is fighting for accountability from privately owned immigration prisons.

I think eventually the discrimination in running rubbed up against the editorial choices of the NYT, but based on my research running started going after athletes in Africa before the NYT became obsessed with weird anti trans opinion pieces. But now it's all one big soup for sure!

In my first comment I went to transphobia bc that's what the OP was commenting on. But with this in general, I do think the fact that the athletes are Black and from Africa is a much a factor of them not fitting in the ideal gender box as the intersex piece. (Deleted and reposted to be more clear)
