It's not wrong. Technically. In large enough doses, anything is a posion. IIRC the saying goes, "The difference between medicine and poison is the dosage." But in high enough doses, even water is poisonous.

It would take some work, but maybe make the bugbear and one or two alternatives you feel would likely be good fits. Then, more or less, just try then on. You don't need to go in-depth with them, but even if not the final design, it could let you explore if you want to go further down that path.

tl;dr - Steel mills pollute b/c they use lime as 'flux', the stuff that absorbs impurities and protects the molten steel. But someone theorized if you ground up concrete, sifted out the gravel, and got it WICKED PISSING HOT, it'd turn back into clinker, a kind of in-between stage before concrete.
