Yep. It completely depends upon why/how you are immunosuppressed and which immunosuppressants you are taking. But if possible, people like me should get vaxed as much and as often as possible.

It doesn't matter that she was technically legal. He was her boss. He had power over her. He had age, experience, and fame that she did not. She was desperate for money (hence why she took the nanny job according to her). There is no world in which he should have done this, even if she said yes.

The issue here is that she says she didn't consent "at first." Also, she was 18?19? to his 60. He solicited her on the FIRST day of her employment. He's also hugely famous. How in the world would anyone feel comfortable saying no to him? Power differentials mean that consent can't happen.

And you totally missed my discussion of the power differential. When one exists, consent is skewed. Neil admitted to having a sexual relationship with a barely legal employee. That is wrong. There is no other way for it to be because of the power differential.

I don't like this. I don't like the gap that's going to exist on my bookshelves, but I believe women. Too many times in my life I said nothing because my abuser had power over me, be it my boss or teacher. That's how power differentials work. Dammit Neil. 😢

You don't get to pick and choose who to support when it's convenient. Power dynamics change the way consent works. You can coerce someone into a "consensual relationship" by using your position. Having a relationship w/ a barely legal employee you just meant is the very definition of wrong. 2/

I have way too many friends who were supportive of the #MeToo movement, who shouted "believe women!" who are now defending someone because they really like this person's work. That's not how this works, folks.

I agree. However, Gaiman admitted to a relationship with a barely legal employee that happened only a few years ago. If nothing else, he had a brief relationship with someone he had power over, which is horrifically wrong and he should know better.

I wanted the QWERKY because it lets me sit my iPad into it for ease of use. It even charges it. Can’t do that with the cheap bases. My wife went your route and it works well for her. :)

You aren’t alone. The fact that my wife is temporarily disabled and unemployed at the moment makes this a lot scarier as I’m not sure who would take us in if we were to flee the country. Both of us being trans adds a new angle of terror to it too.
