I suspect that the "privilege" of thinking you can survive a Trump win would QUICKLY disintegrate their progressive virtue signaling & a lot of people on the left will turn inward or insular during the administration, & leave the most marginalized & exposed to their own fates.

I've been a resident DJ for 20 years. I've been crate digging since I was 8 years old and have something like 1,500 albums. With hardware, I have been value-oriented and cut rate for far too long. Cue maniacal laughter. When you save up a swear jar of 15 years you can do quite a bit.

There's a great business lesson with marketing myopia, specifically at the turn of the 20th century: Trains didn't think of themselves as anything but trains, but they are transportation (trucks, planes), and got obliterated. Any fireworks company not pivoting to drones is doomed.

Interesting the rabbit hole, when you start understanding different makers partnering w/ other makers, having so much complexity when you think it's just one single brand. Tubes, record components, etc. I'm going to end up with audiophile turntable someday. but it's going to be insane fun for now.
