I wonder how much storage is going to play a roll in lumber. On the one hand it’s bulky and can rot but on the other it has to be dried and air drying would save fuel and deal with storage.

In so many ways CMOS sensors are better. Literally the only thing that gives film an advantage is dynamic range and HDR pics beat even that. Feedback, sensitivity, noise, saturation, versatility, cost, speed, burst rate, video. But I still buy vinyl records so I get the nostalgia.

We need a better way to handle subscriptions. A not insignificant portion of my time involves trying to figure out if we’re subscribing to the same service twice or which ones I forgot about. Some are tax deductible business subscriptions for software. Some are for cheese. It’s madness.
