Its hard to develop coherent opinions when everything goes through the "how do I translate this into attention" filter first. I do think he legitimately loosely holds a good number of those beliefs when he says them, but only because he has no incentive to think meaningfully about anything.

The one thing I miss from my worst year of uni where so much shit in my life had gone sideways was renting a place with a fridge that poured cold water and could make crushed ice. Fuck that year, but goddamn that fridge kept me hydrated.

This is somehow the first time I've heard of having to pay for your own imprisonment being a thing Holy hell that's a nightmare situation, I know the prison system doesn't actually GAF about rehabilitating ppl, but that is actively working to make people fail

Combined especially with being social animals, you can only really survive being around others if you develop some basic pro-social behaviours. Living in community necessitates some form of moral structure to prevent everyone from getting each other killed, and no god needs to organize that.

Sidenote, it also had one of the best trailers I've ever seen. All the details you need to understand what the movies is like but drew the line exactly to not give away the mystery. Also, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Goodman acted their asses off the whole movie. Incredible!
