It cannot be stressed enough that adjusting the size of the Supreme Court in the 19th c. was a serious solution to serious concerns about how the Court functioned. As @earlymodjustice.bsky.social points out, reform often addressed imbalances. And these imbalances were often about REPRESENTATION. 1/

I am no Biden fanboy. He isnt my ideal candidate. But I am not going to panic over one bad debate. I have a ton of criticisms over Biden and wish we had a better candidate. But him dropping out is hardly helpful

Cognitive is speculative at best. The second point is overly simplified and none are a reason to drop out. Especially when he secured the nomination and there isnt enough time to field a new candidate. Those are reasons to vote for a different candidate, not reasons for him to drop out.

No, it suggests that I’ve explained it over and over. The joke — signaled with the red flare of BREAKING — was that the American media has treated obvious traits of Biden like his age as news scoops. So to mock that I referred to another obvious trait of his, the fact that he’s an Irish American.
