Poetry? The cruel and unnecessary death, delayed or ruined fertility, misery, stress, costs women are experiencing at their hands while they come for all 20th century gains is torture. How glib to look at it this way.
Yep, this is horrific for women, and must be corrected. But, seeing Republicans dance around and pretend they didn’t create this wildly unpopular mess is a little delicious.
I had always assumed they'd never actually ban abortion because it'd be the party's undoing. I now fear that it won't harm them as much or as swiftly as we need to escape fascism.
