i just don't like things being private when they should be municipal! i'm sorry! i want the employees to be in a union and i want robust protections against discrimination in a purpose-built space i partially own via taxation! i want it to be venture capital proof!

I'm not against nuclear energy per se. I just think its hugely expensive and nobody really remembers how to do it. My dad's generation was the one that specialized in building fission reactors, and he retired 30 years ago. That's a great deal of tacit knowledge that just isn't around any more.

Has Elon Musk ever filled out a federal background check for for owning a firearm? And if he did, did he lie about his drug use on the form? Because there is recent precedent for prosecuting that kind of thing. If its fair to charge Hunter Biden, seems fair to charge Elon.

What a dumb place to put the bumper sticker, cramped in there between the Ford oval and the American flag-themed RANGER lettering. Should have stuck it on the bumper, could have had one on either side of the license plate, for symmetry. Instead it just looks like shit.

Talk about the need to think of “safety” holistically. Not dying of heatstroke is safety to. Who is thankful for the massive expenditure for police robots or armored cars when there is no A/C in designated cooling places? Heat effects more people than mugging ever could.

That's the mall where, after all the old stores left, they filled it with things like indoor go-carts and laser tag. The kind of place you can send your kid to go have some fun on a February afternoon in Massachusetts. Seems like it was a cool model but I guess not super financially successful.
