I know they tried in 2016 but I wonder what could be the Daisy ad for Trump. Probably not possible. But can't get this visual out of my mind.

Tonight was surreal -- giving my last lecture at LSU with some of my first students from 18 years ago in the audience. I tried to make it all about my amazing students and what they taught me. Emotional, bittersweet, and truly satisfying experience.

Hey, I'll deliver my "Last Lecture" at LSU on Wednesday (tomorrow) at 4:30. They tell me it will be a full house, but there's still plenty of room on the Manship School's YouTube channel. Tune in if you can. I'll post a link afterward, too.

I've been cleaning my office with a vacuum cleaner I bought because LSU doesn't clean faculty offices. Now that I'm retiring, I won't need it. For National Library Workers Day, I'm auctioning it off. Proceeds will go to the Friends of the LSU Library. go.eventgroovefundraising.com/vacuum

Some may be upset about the NY Appeals Court ruling, but it's important that we not risk punishing a potentially innocent man. For instance, in 2010 a 17 year old from the Bronx named Kalief Browder was falsely accused of stealing a backpack and I can only assume everything worked out fine for him.

-The father suing says his daughters have never tried and have no intention of trying to get contraceptives from a title x clinic, but somehow the case still has standing
