I wish simple didn’t have such a negative connotation to it. I like simple. I like simple games and simple stories. There’s beauty in something that just is what it wants to be and nothing grandiose. It’s cozy. I consider simple a compliment.

If I take the time to sit down and finish a book quickly, it means I didn't just like it, I LOVED IT. It means I couldn't put it down. It means I put aside other projects and chores just for that book.

People who recommend to get a puppy when your dog gets old are telling the truth. When my late dog passed in my senior year of high school, I couldn’t get out of bed for three days. Probably would’ve been better if I had a dog who still needed to be taken care of.

I laugh when people talk about how the weather is so much nicer, like we aren't getting worse hurricanes and the like. I live in Southern Texas and we have never gotten this much rain during the summer. It's humid as fuck and I can only imagine the nightmare hurricane season is going to be.

This shit is why I walk or scooter lmao. Fine, it's slower and has its own drawbacks, but I likely won't have to shill out thousands of dollars in car repairs, plus medical bills (if I get hit on the sidewalk).

Oh boy, I live in an apartment complex and, while it’s technically against the rules (and the law. You can get fined) to not pick up after your dog, few people do. It gets nasty AF during the summer. Just dozens of poop piles getting cooked after it rains. The smell 🤢
