because there’s a much smaller pool of potential partners, so age becomes less of a consideration. there’s also the fact that how to have gay sex was only taught through having that sex, so there’s an appeal to an older, knowledgeable lover. these men were the younger party at some point as well.

when the options are a) get a sick kid out of their bed, strip the bed, strip the kid, hose down the kid, remake the bed, and get the kid back into bed knowing you’re going to have to do it again within the hour (and they’re actively vomiting the whole time) b) washing a bowl i think most say b.

it’s for when kids are sick. they don’t always have enough warning from their bodies before stuff starts coming out. or adults, when they are too sick to get out of bed and to the bathroom in time. since most people don’t have a chamber pot, a large bowl serves this purpose.
